“Transcendental tinkering”

“Transcendental tinkering” is a nice slangy expression of what theosophy actually does.

What theosophy claims to do is much better handled by design. I will say it again: Design fulfills alchemy’s hopes.

This fulfillment only happens, however, when design does its deep work of transcendental tinkering.

When it limits itself to aesthetic and functional tinkering, design betrays its promise.

Third runner-up: “psyche hacking”.
